This team's responsibilities encompass providing Unified Data and Analytics Infrastructure (UDAI), catering to various business streams like Payments, Finance, Consumer, and Delivery Experience.
Responsibilities of a Data Engineer
As a Data Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
Designing and Implementing Data Solutions: Crafting data and analytics solutions to cater to the unique requirements of Amazon India. This involves managing massive data infrastructure and ensuring scalability to meet evolving analytics needs.
Ensuring Data Quality and Compliance: Implementing solutions that adhere to the Best At Amazon (BAA) standards for data availability, consistency, and compliance.
Collaboration and Interface: Working closely with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources using SQL and AWS big data technologies.
