Job Description

Overview

A Data Analyst plays a crucial role in collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets to derive insights and solutions for business problems. They utilize their technological expertise to transform and manipulate data sets for analysis purposes.

Responsibilities

1. Data Collection and Preparation
   • Gather, process, and cleanse data from various sources for analysis.
2. Data Analysis
   • Perform in-depth analysis of data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
3. Data Visualization
   • Utilize data visualization techniques to present insights in an easily understandable manner.
4. Collaboration
   • Work closely with teams to understand their data analysis requirements and deliver reports accordingly.
5. System Development
   • Develop and implement data collection systems, analytics strategies, and other methodologies to optimize efficiency and quality.
6. Trend Identification
   • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets.
7. Business Prioritization
   • Assist in prioritizing business and information needs.
8. Process Improvement
   • Identify and define opportunities for process improvement.
9. Data System Maintenance
   • Maintain data systems to ensure integrity, quality, and efficiency.
10. Metric Calculation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, statistics, or related field.
• Prior experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
• Proficiency in reporting packages, databases, and query tools.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting, dashboard creation, and knowledge base development.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strategic thinking and prior experience in procurement preferred.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in other European languages desirable.
• Technical proficiency and strong problem-solving skills.

Reporting Structure

The Data/Business Analyst - Contract Management will report directly to the Director, Global Contracts, and collaborate closely with the broader Contracts team.
