Responsibilities

End-to-End Engineering Solutions

• Manage end-to-end engineering solutions for Machine Learning at scale.
• Integrate data science solutions into tangible products.
• Write efficient and quality code suitable for Walmart's scale.

Productionize ML Models

• Tackle model management challenges.
• Parallelize algorithms/model training to reduce training time significantly.

Quality Standards and Best Practices

• Adopt Walmart’s quality standards and recommend process standards across the retail industry.
• Research, learn, and adapt new technologies to improve existing solutions.

Innovative Solutions

• Participate in events to build innovative solutions.
• Design, build, test, and deploy cutting-edge solutions at scale.

Collaboration and Communication

• Interact with data science groups across Walmart to understand major engineering challenges.
• Identify and propose solutions for engineering challenges.

Technology Integration

• Identify suitable open-source tools for product features.

Qualifications

Competencies
