Job Overview

As a Data Analyst at Micron Technology Inc., you will be an integral member of a diverse and dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing how we utilize data to enhance efficiency and deliver value. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of data collection, analysis, visualization, and solution implementation within the Global Procurement domain and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection and Integration

  • Gather data from diverse sources, including databases, web analytics, surveys, and more, to build comprehensive datasets for analysis.
  • Utilize a range of tools and technologies such as SAP Hana Studio, SAP ECC, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL, Python, and Excel to perform data integration and transformation tasks effectively.
  • Leverage the Snowflake cloud data platform for storing, querying, and analyzing large volumes of data, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

Data Analysis and Insights Generation

  • Apply statistical techniques and analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI to analyze complex datasets and uncover valuable insights, patterns, and trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and requirements, translating them into actionable insights and solutions.
  • Employ innovative approaches to develop advanced predictive models that facilitate faster and more informed decision-making processes within the procurement domain.

Reporting and Visualization

  • Communicate findings and results to stakeholders through clear and engaging visualizations, dashboards, and presentations, enabling effective data-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  • Design interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau, enhancing accessibility and usability for end-users across the enterprise.

Process Optimization and Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes, driving efficiency and improving overall data quality.
  • Proactively propose and implement new data collection methodologies, tools, and techniques to enhance the effectiveness of procurement operations and decision-making.
