Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Tableau developer to collaborate with both business and IT teams. The primary responsibilities of this role entail transforming data into insightful visualizations and dashboards, facilitating informed decision-making processes. We are looking for individuals with strong analytical skills and exceptional communication abilities. Candidates with business acumen and problem-solving capabilities are highly desired. Ultimately, the chosen candidate will contribute to enhancing our business intelligence system, thereby facilitating improved decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding Business Requirements: Comprehend the business inquiries and requirements.
  • KPI Alignment: Collaborate with clients to align on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and data sources.
  • Visualization Design: Define visuals and essential KPIs to expedite insight generation.
  • Mock-up Design: Design and align on mock-ups based on agreed-upon requirements.
  • Data Extraction and Transformation: Execute data extraction and transformation processes to create the necessary dataset for dashboard development.
  • Dashboard Development: Develop dashboards based on finalized mock-ups and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Feedback Implementation: Implement feedback from business users to create the final version of the solution.
  • Automation: Automate the data refresh process using data transformation tools.
  • Training: Conduct workshops and train users to enhance solution adoption.
  • Tableau Desktop & Server Implementation: Implement Tableau Desktop & Server solutions, including live connections with databases such as SAP, SQL, and Hadoop.
  • Client Management: Manage client relationships effectively.
  • Problem Solving and Communication: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.

Work Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4 - 6 years of experience in Tableau and Business Consulting.
  • Tableau Projects Experience: Proficient in Tableau projects, involved in the complete lifecycle from requirement gathering to testing.
  • Data Transformation Tools: Knowledge of data transformation tools like Alteryx, KNIME, SQL, Hive will be advantageous.
  • Domain Experience: Must have experience in CPG/FMCG/FP&A domain.
