The Product Analyst role within Sony Pictures Networks' Digital Business in Bengaluru requires a candidate with 3-5 years of experience in Business Intelligence/Data Analytics, preferably in digital businesses. They will collaborate with product and business teams to generate analytics hypotheses, interpret data, and develop insights for user growth and retention. Strong technical skills in SQL/Hive, Big Query, R, and/or Python are essential, along with expertise in statistical methods and AI/ML models. Position: Product Analyst – AVOD, Digital Business (2599)
Purpose:
- Utilize deep technical skills alongside analytical experience to drive product growth and success through data insights.
- Ideal candidate demonstrates scrappiness, independence, action orientation, and enthusiasm for influencing product priorities.
Education:
- Graduate degree in Engineering, Statistics, Operational Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence/Data Analytics, preferably within digital businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business & product teams to generate analytics hypotheses, structure solutions, and solve problems.
- Interpret data and conduct analysis using analytics, research methodologies, and statistical techniques.
- Gain deep understanding of customer journeys and current trends to enhance initiatives.
- Dive into data to generate insights for user growth through acquisition and retention.
- Develop and maintain automated dashboards to enhance awareness and comprehension of metrics.
- Document work using project management tools.
- Utilize AI/ML tools to evaluate and enhance recommendation systems and predictive modeling.
