Who You Are:

• Currently enrolled in a BS/BA or MS/MA program in a technical field like Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or Statistics, with an expected graduation date around December 2024 or Spring/Summer 2025.
• Candidates with substantial relevant work experience may not be considered. While previous internships are acceptable, individuals with multiple years of relevant work experience may not be prioritized.
• Enthusiastic about exploring innovative solutions and willing to embrace challenges for learning.
• Capable of making well-thought-out, confident decisions and open to sharing your ideas.
• Independent worker unafraid to seek guidance from team members.
• Excited to thrive in a collaborative work environment.
• Clear and concise communicator both in speech and writing.
• Aligned with Netflix's mission to Entertain the World and confident in your ability to thrive in our culture.
• Coursework or practical experience in data structures, algorithms, and debugging (bonus if you’ve completed courses in Distributed Systems, Web Development, Mobile Development, Network or Application Security, Machine Learning, or AI).
• Fluent in any one of the following programming languages: C, Java, Kotlin, C++, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Ruby, Go, or Rust.
• If proficient in another modern programming language not listed, still consider applying. Strong programming skills and CS fundamentals are valued, and we are willing to support your learning of a language more widely used within Netflix.

Internships at Netflix:

We offer a personalized internship experience that mirrors the actual work environment. Interns are matched with projects and groups based on their interests and skill sets, fully integrated within those groups for the summer. Internships are paid and last a minimum of 12 weeks, with flexible start dates in May or June 2024. Conditions permitting, internships may be located in our Los Gatos, CA office or our Los Angeles, CA office, depending on the team.

Compensation:

Compensation may vary and is location-dependent. The overall market range for Netflix Internships is typically $40/hour - $110/hour, based on total compensation.
