Ethoca, a subsidiary of Mastercard, is in search of an Analyst to join our Enterprise Information Management team. We are seeking a self-motivated individual capable of thriving in a diverse and dynamic environment. This role, reporting to the Ethoca Data Science team, focuses on data analysis and root cause analysis, directly impacting our product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive data analysis
• Perform root cause analysis, demonstrating problem-solving skills and identifying anomalies in the data
• Merge large datasets, search and aggregate data
• Manually validate and annotate data
• Establish KPIs and metrics for reporting to maintain a system pulse
• Develop innovative automation processes
• Assist senior data scientists in ensuring data quality

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Proficient experience in SQL, capable of working in multiple SQL environments
• Previous involvement in joining large datasets, searching data, and aggregating data
• Quick adaptability to changing priorities
• Background in data quality practices
• Ability to work independently
• Effective communication of results to team members and stakeholders
• Previous experience with reporting tools is advantageous
• Familiarity with Python is a plus

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field is required
• Experience in Azure is a plus
