About the Team If you are passionate about data and thrive on analyzing, interpreting, and utilizing it, you'll seamlessly integrate into our dynamic team. The Data team specializes in designing decision boards, conducting root cause analyses, and deriving actionable business insights.

About the Role 

As an Analyst at slice, you play a pivotal role in shaping our credit and business strategies. Your primary responsibility involves preparing analysis-ready data and translating it into insights that guide data-driven decision-making across various business functions. Collaborating closely with leadership, growth, credit, and product teams, you will contribute to implementing analytics-driven strategies for business expansion.

Responsibilities 

• Apply first principles thinking, data, and analytical skills to generate actionable business insights for significant business impact and an enhanced customer experience.
• Utilize Descriptive (Data visualizations & BI), Inquisitive (Root cause analysis), and Prescriptive analytics to facilitate effective problem-solving on a large scale.
• Collaborate with functional leaders and the Leadership team to comprehend, dissect, and define business problems.
• Develop comprehensive reporting and actionable insights to address complex business challenges and facilitate strategic decision-making.

Qualifications 

• Demonstrated passion and drive to create solutions that impact millions of customers.
• 2-4 years of experience addressing various business problems and providing insights for substantial business impact.
• Proficiency in databases and scripting languages (Advanced SQL, Python/R, Excel).
• Excellent skills in Data Visualization and insight generation tools.
• Strong problem-solving ability, breaking down problems to a granular level and proposing effective solutions.
• Effective communication and storytelling capabilities.
• Openness to learning and adapting to new technologies.
