Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Data Engineer to contribute significantly to the technical development of essential sales tools and business workflows, leveraging data for informed decision-making. In this role, you will enhance the productivity of the sales team by establishing future state best practices for business analytics. Responsibilities include defining, designing, and implementing AWS/BI technologies and services to facilitate data analysis for strategic programs and ongoing business requirements. The role involves generating analytical reports, developing the BI layer, and drawing conclusive insights. Reporting to the Bangalore manager, this is a hybrid work opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the design, development, and implementation of optimal, scalable data pipelines.
- Understand, implement, and automate ETL pipelines adhering to industry standards.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Python.
- Extract complex data from multiple sources, transforming it into usable and meaningful reports and analyses.
- Showcase creativity to devise innovative solutions beyond existing tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend data extracted from various applications.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.
- 0 to 2 years of relevant data engineering experience.
- Proficient in working with SQL.
- Strong knowledge of Python.
- Experience with DBT, Airflow, Snowflake, and Jenkins.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
