Profile overview
Intellibee Inc is actively seeking a highly analytical and solution-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer skilled in Databricks, Tableau, and modern ETL design principles to drive data transformation across enterprise ecosystems.
The position centers on serving as a core technical bridge between cross-functional business stakeholders, project domain managers, and technical data development teams.
A primary responsibility involves managing client facilitation processes, converting raw, unstructured business needs into clear, actionable sprint-ready user stories within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.
The incoming engineer will play a pivotal role in architectural design, robust technical documentation, end-to-end business intelligence pipeline maintenance, and continuous optimization of analytics delivery mechanisms.
You will be entrusted with making crucial project scope decisions on behalf of business domains, ensuring every delivered analytical component accurately reflects organizational priorities and technical performance standards.
The role demands hands-on technical proficiency with SQL for data extraction, intermediate querying, schema navigation, complex data transformations, and automated reporting generation.
Candidates will utilize Databricks as the backbone for scalable big data ETL workflows, building efficient data lakes, transforming structured or semi-structured data, and integrating analytical data stores.
In conjunction with data orchestration, the candidate will utilize Tableau to design, deploy, and maintain interactive business intelligence dashboards, custom visual metrics, and enterprise-level executive reporting models.
Operating within a SAFe Agile deployment structure, you will actively participate in sprint planning, establish strict acceptance criteria for story items, lead backlog refinement sessions, and maintain alignment across delivery teams.
Beyond pure technical execution, the role incorporates elements of project management and client leadership, requiring superior communication skills to articulate technical trade-offs to non-technical business partners.
Positioned in Salem, OR, US, this full-time onsite role offers an outstanding platform for data professionals looking to expand their expertise in enterprise cloud environments and big data analytics paradigms.
