Profile Overview

  • The Associate Analyst - Operations Performance & Analytics is responsible for supporting the Inflight Resource Planning and Scheduling teams within United’s Network Operations.

  • This role involves extensive data analysis, reporting, and process automation to optimize inflight crew operations and overall performance metrics.

  • The analyst will gather and analyze large datasets related to inflight crew staffing, productivity, operational reliability, and scheduling efficiency.

  • Core responsibilities include identifying improvement opportunities, developing analytical models, and providing actionable insights that enhance team performance and operational stability.

  • The position involves collaboration across multiple departments and requires the ability to translate data into meaningful business outcomes.

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and handling data extraction tasks.

  • Familiarity with Python or similar programming languages for analytical workflows and automation.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and modeling.

  • Hands-on experience with visualization tools like Tableau, Spotfire, or Power BI to create dashboards and visual reports.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to study business problems, understand operational challenges, and translate them into quantifiable solutions.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision and deliver consistent results under tight timelines.
