Profile Overview:

• Collaboration with Product Teams:

  • Engage closely with product teams to implement new features using machine learning (ML)
  • Develop scalable classifiers and tools leveraging ML and deep learning

• Project Ownership:

  • Lead and manage all ML projects
  • Foster a culture of ML within the organization

• Advanced Algorithmic Solutions:

  • Craft, prototype, and deliver advanced ML algorithms
  • Ensure robustness and scalability of ML methods

• Experience with Text Extraction:

  • Expertise in extracting information from structured/unstructured text
  • Implement NLP algorithms and modify standard algorithms for specific tasks

• Deep Learning and NLP:

  • Proficient in deep learning frameworks (e.g., Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Strong understanding of NLP techniques, including transformer and BERT fine-tuning

• Database and Data Analysis:

  • Familiar with database queries and data analysis processes (SQL, Python)
  • Experience in building and deploying production NLP systems on large-scale text data

Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Python programming
  • Strong coding skills in TensorFlow or PyTorch
  • Understanding of ML algorithms (e.g., regression algorithms, decision trees, deep learning algorithms)

• Experience and Expertise:

  • 1 to 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Prior research publications are a plus
  • Proven experience in crafting advanced algorithmic solutions

• NLP and Deep Learning:

  • Experience with NLP algorithms and deep learning approaches
  • Ability to modify standard algorithms and implement custom solutions

• Database and Data Analysis:

  • Familiar with SQL and Python for data analysis
  • Proven track record in deploying NLP systems on large-scale text data

• Additional Skills:

  • Experience in entity/relation extraction, text summarization, semantic search, and embedding
  • Ability to monitor and optimize performance of existing pipelines and services
