Job Description

Summary of Role

• As an Information and Cyber Security Data Analyst, you will contribute to the production of critical metrics and management information within the function. You'll play a key role in various automation initiatives undertaken by the team. This position is part of our Information & Cyber Security team within Corporate IT, based primarily in Mumbai. It's essential to possess effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and to be a supportive team player, prioritizing a consultative approach while upholding the integrity and independence of the Information Security function.

The Role You will undertake the following responsibilities on a day-to-day basis:

• Extracting, interrogating, and analyzing data to generate key metrics and management information dashboards vital for decision-making.
• Generating reports and MI dashboards using automation tools and trackers.
• Utilizing Power BI to update, publish, and create new reports as required.
• Collaborating with pillar leads to enhance data sources and streamline reporting processes.
• Offering suggestions and recommendations to automate MI dashboard generation.
• Developing Excel-based macro solutions.
• Producing ad-hoc MI reports in Power BI and Excel based on specific requests from the ICS team.
• Automating business processes through Power Automate.
• Providing comprehensive reporting across operational and security KPIs, escalating issues appropriately when necessary.
• Administering and maintaining GRC, Automation tools, and the SharePoint portal.
• Coordinating with vendor support teams and subject matter experts to resolve tool-related issues.

The Requirements

• Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL, Dot net, and reporting tools like Power BI, Crystal Reports, Cognos, etc.
• Familiarity with SharePoint tools, including ULS Logs, workflows, and SharePoint forms for tasks.
• Ability to write and edit VBA and create Excel-based macro solutions.
• Understanding of core database concepts, experience with Microsoft Access, and basic SQL.
• Experience in Power BI (Power Query & DAX, PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Platform).
• Expertise in optimizing Power BI dashboards for usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization.
• Competence in Microsoft Power BI Desktop for report editing, creation, and publication.
• Proficiency in setting up queries and data models within Power BI Desktop, including relationships, measures, and calculated columns in DAX.
• Experience leveraging Power Automate Connectors and implementing notification workflows.
• Ability to build form-like screens using Power Apps.
• Proficient in using PowerPoint to produce slide decks.
• Capability to work with large and complex data sets.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for analysis and reporting using formulas, Pivot tables, and data manipulation features.
• Willingness to work on integration/automation of GRC tools.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple requests.
• Creative thinking skills to devise customizations within automation tools and portals.
• Ability to work across multiple business segments and contexts, adapting engagement approaches accordingly.
• 3 to 5 years of experience/background in Data Analysis.
• Knowledge and understanding of Information Security and IT concepts.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant Business or Information Technology area.
