Job Summary:

About the Team

The Monetization analytics team at Disney+ Hotstar is seeking a Staff Product Analyst to lead growth initiatives, design experiments, and influence product strategies that impact revenue streams.

We have constructed one of India's largest, highly scalable, and widely distributed subscription platforms in the OTT landscape. Our Ad Platform operates atop this expansive foundation and stands as one of the premier Video Advertising Platforms in India. Our vision is to establish it as the largest Video Advertising Platform in the region. The Disney+ Hotstar MarTech platform has replaced a globally renowned third-party vendor to develop an in-house, custom, and cost-effective platform for reaching, engaging, and growing our customer base.

Please note: This role is open in Bangalore, Mumbai, and Gurgaon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the building and mentoring of a team of product analysts.
  • Collaborate with the data/BI engineering team to establish robust and real-time data systems with the right instrumentation and visualization capabilities.
  • Co-own business objectives and spearhead data-driven problem-solving to derive actionable insights related to acquisition, payments, engagement, and retention.
  • Establish a framework for conducting numerous parallel A/B tests reliably.
  • Collaborate with product and business teams to identify high-level requirements/problems and create analytical frameworks and presentations.
  • Develop reports and dashboards that foster data awareness across the organization and reflect the health of various initiatives.

Skills & Attributes for Success:

  • Postgraduate degree or equivalent, preferably in Business Administration, Statistics, Operational Research, or Mathematics.
  • 8-10 years of experience; currently employed as a Senior Business Analyst/Senior Product Analyst.
  • Proven experience in data modeling, predictive analysis, and expertise in R, SQL, and Python.
  • Proficiency in Reporting/BI tools, data warehousing concepts, ETL development, and related tools. Familiarity with digital analytics and clickstream data.
  • Desired experience with distributed analytic processing technologies (e.g., Hive).
  • Experience with tools such as Mixpanel, Adobe Analytics, AppsFlyer, Behavioral analytics, Apsalar, etc.
  • A strong analytical mindset and deep consumer understanding.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • B.Tech/B.E/Masters in Computer Science, Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics, Physics, or a related technical discipline from a reputable institution, with 8-10 years of experience in Business/Product analytics.
