Short Description:

The Senior Product Manager role at Google Cloud seeks experienced individuals to lead product strategy and development, shaping innovations in cloud services. Candidates should possess 8 years of product management or technical experience, drive product vision and go-to-market strategies, and collaborate cross-functionally in delivering cutting-edge technologies. This position involves crafting solutions, managing mergers and acquisitions, and collaborating across various product teams within Google Cloud.

Location Options: Kirkland, WA, USA; Seattle, WA, USA; San Francisco, CA, USA; Sunnyvale, CA, USA

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management, co-founder, or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience in building and launching technical products.
  • Experience in developing and launching products/technologies within one or more of the following: Cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools, and/or supply chain networks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of people management experience with direct reports.
  • Experience in driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.
  • Experience in managing day-to-day technical and design direction.
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following areas: cloud infrastructure, SaaS, big data, security and privacy, development and operations, or artificial intelligence/machine learning.
  • Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, or Marketing.
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.

Additionally, you will be responsible for crafting product solutions, managing Mergers and Acquisitions, driving go-to-market strategies, and nurturing business relationships to harness the full potential of applying Google's technologies in the enterprise market.

The base salary range for this full-time position in the US is $164,000-$252,000, along with bonuses, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range indicated in the job posting represents the minimum and maximum target salaries for new hires across all US locations. Individual compensation depends on location and additional factors, including skills, experience, and education. Your recruiter can provide specific salary details for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities:

  • Deeply understand the cloud ecosystem, market dynamics, competition, and user requirements.
  • Introduce new products and features, assess their performance, and iterate rapidly.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams to drive cutting-edge technologies.
  • Generate solutions by fostering cross-functional collaboration across regions, product areas, and functions.
