Job Description 

We are in search of a Senior Product Manager to join our Auto product team at ACKO. In this role, you will become part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, develop, and introduce products that align with the company's vision and strategy.

Join an agile, entrepreneurial team with extensive cross-functional cooperation across various areas of the business, including marketing, customer experience, pricing, claims, operations, engineering, data science, design, and user research to bring your innovative ideas to life. As a key member of the product team, you will be responsible for formulating and executing product strategies that span the entire customer journey, covering acquisition, engagement, retention, and re-engagement.

Responsibilities:

1. Customer Insights

   • Recognize the significance of data in informed decision-making and formulate pertinent questions to solve complex problems.
   • Aggregate data from diverse sources, both internal and external, to make well-informed product choices.
   • Engage with users to influence feature development and roadmap through direct customer interaction and user research.
   • Identify critical gaps in the user experience and propose enhancements, collaborating closely with the design team.
   • Segment users and evaluate user journeys while considering one or more user segments.

2. Product Strategy

   • Clearly articulate and analyze business challenges.
   • Generate innovative solutions to address business and product challenges independently.
   • Establish connections between features and broader company objectives to guide product decisions that lead to anticipated business outcomes.

3. Product Execution

   • Draft feature Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and refine features in collaboration with design and engineering teams, understanding the importance of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and iterative development.
   • Communicate feature success criteria effectively.
   • Relate how individual features contribute to broader business or company-level goals.
   • Comprehend and negotiate engineering trade-offs.
   • Prioritize features and reduce scope when necessary to ensure on-time product roadmap delivery.
   • Appreciate the importance of quality assurance (QA) in the product development process, with prior experience in product testing.

4. Stakeholder Management

   • Effectively collaborate with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, empathizing with their perspectives and concerns.
   • Communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
   • Demonstrate ownership and creative thinking with minimal guidance.
   • Actively seek feedback and adapt approaches as needed.

What You'll Need

• 6-8 years of experience in successfully delivering customer-facing products with a strong impact.
• Proven experience in defining market and product requirements, collaborating with engineering teams to rapidly introduce high-impact capabilities to the market.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling positioning and messaging strategies and present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Hands-on experience in timely end-to-end product delivery in line with the product roadmap.
• Proficiency in mobile and web application development.
• Familiarity with OKRs and expertise in product planning.
• Experience working with UX researchers and designers to extract optimal user experience designs for mobile applications.
• Customer-focused approach with a talent for simplifying complex product challenges.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, using data and metrics to justify requirements and features and drive effective product management.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision.
