Profile Overview

• This role is tailored for early-career professionals with a background in data science and an interest in manufacturing

• You will be responsible for uncovering insights from OT (Operational Technology) and IT (Information Technology) systems and transforming them into business value

• Design, test, and iterate on prototypes for advanced analytics use cases, tailoring them to practical manufacturing environments

• Collaborate with plant engineers to confirm the validity of insights and develop action plans based on findings

• Create engaging visualizations and dashboards using Python or Power BI to communicate insights effectively

• Partner with machine learning engineers to curate data and set up training pipelines for AI-driven solutions

• Ensure data-driven solutions are aligned with real-world constraints and add measurable value to operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or similar

• Solid understanding of data science principles, including statistics, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling

• Familiarity with manufacturing systems and industrial data sources like MES, ERP, SCADA, and sensor logs

• Ability to code in Python and use SQL for data extraction and preprocessing

• Experience in data visualization using tools like Power BI or Matplotlib/Seaborn in Python

• Exposure to working with cross-functional teams in engineering, manufacturing, or digital product development

• Willingness to explore domain-specific problems and develop tailored, actionable solutions
